Dante Mazza is a California native now living in New York City. A graduate of the American Studies program at Columbia University, Dante is dedicated to experiencing the history and culture of the United States through its most important places. This site is a collection of his visits to National Historic Landmarks, National Register of Historic Places Listings, California State Historical Landmarks, New York City Landmarks, and other iconic sites. Each page features original photographs by Dante and descriptive, narrative text drawn from official landmark nominations and designations, as well as additional research.
